The
mission statement for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
reads,
"To advance human progress through an
economic, political and social system based on
individual freedom, incentive, initiative,
opportunity, and responsibility."
The
Hancock Chamber of Commerce
seeks to meet those goals and more in the aftermath
of Hurricane Katrina - the most devastating natural
disaster in this country’s history. We’ve taken
initiative, sought out opportunities,
accepted responsibility and in the process,
have become a unifying leader in the extraordinary
recovery efforts.
Our message is simple: We are
ONE. Working together, local businesses, civic
leaders, volunteer organizations and the citizens of
Hancock County can achieve miracles.
We invite you to join our 800+
members today!
The people of Hancock County still
have lots of work ahead. Our goal is to rebuild
even better and stronger. Working as one, our
businesses, citizens, volunteers and local
government can make miracles a reality.
